Switch systemswithout the mess.

Changing software is the job everyone puts off because it feels risky. With a proper plan it isn't. We choose the switch-over date with you, bring your data across, prove the balances match and have your team working in the new system from day one.

What's included

A clear migration plan

Switch-over date, what's coming across and what isn't, agreed in writing before anything moves.

Data conversion

Contacts, products, open invoices and bills, history and opening balances brought across.

Balance checks

Every key balance tied back to the old system, so you and your accountant can trust the starting point.

Go-live support

Set-up done for how you work, then on hand through the first weeks while questions are small.

How we approach it

Most migration problems come from rushing the start. We map your chart of accounts, tax settings and integrations before a single record moves, and time the switch around your month end and VAT quarter.

Once the data is across, we check it the way an accountant would. Trial balance, aged debtors and creditors, VAT and bank balances all have to agree before we call it done.

What you get out of it

Nothing lost

Balances agree with the old system.

Minimal disruption

Timed around your month end and VAT.

A clean start

No old mistakes carried across.

Software Migrations questions

Which systems can you migrate to Xero from?

Sage (desktop and online), QuickBooks, older desktop packages and spreadsheets are the most common. Ask us about anything else.

How long does a migration to Xero take?

It depends on the size of the business and how much history you want. Smaller moves can be done in a couple of weeks.

Should my accountant be involved?

It helps to let them know. We're happy to agree the switch-over date and opening balances with them directly.
